Does lack of discipline lead to stress?

·

The main reason for my stress levels to be increased is my thoughts are in constant action but my actions aren’t. They are lagging behind. I have a To-Do list roaming around my head without any action being taken. Lots of blog post ideas circling right now which I think are worthy to share, but I can’t put all of them into words and share due to my indiscipline. Yes, it’s a real struggle. There are few points to implement to meet or lessen the gap between my expectation and reality.

They are.

  • Wake up early in the morning
  • Reduce the time spent on social media (browsing with a purpose)
  • Implement a system on writing. (A system on how to put all my thoughts through words into the laptop)

And

  • Strictly sticking into a publishing plan of posts.

If I strictly stick to this plan I think I have a big chance of building a successful blog. By just overcoming the above points, not only increase my chances of building a successful blog in the future, but also improve the quality of my life, my family life, the tuition class, the main income stream of mine, etc.

By putting all my effort in improving the blog, which is posting regularly regardless of the view count or Google Analytic, I as a person not only will overcome the weakness of mine but also, improve my life and lives around me.

I don’t know how many times I posted or mentioned my struggle here in this blog, or how many times I’ll post my struggle in the future, I’ll keep mentioning it until I feel that I’ve overcome my weakness to some extent. Because writing it somewhere (and specially publishing it to the world to see) gives me relief, a sense of urgency and obligation to overcome it. The total number of posts I posted here are around eight and out of it several posts were dedicated to my struggle.

Today, I sat in front of the computer to write something else to publish. I ended up publishing something else and published it the next day after procrastinating for a whole day.

consistency

noun (BEING THE SAME)

“the quality of always behaving or performing in a similar way, or of always happening in a similar way”

They’ve won a few games this season but they lack consistency. It’s important to show some consistency in your work.

Opposite

Inconsistency

———————————-

The concept behind this word “consistency” is so powerful that lots of people around you who are successful inherently knew the power of it or enhanced it on the way to be successful. Also while I’m struggling to overcome it, maybe some of them have embraced “inconsistency”, thinking F””k to success.

Just to say, “Just do it!” is easy, but practically just to do whatever you’re supposed to do isn’t easy without a strong motivation.

I’ve been following the YouTuber “Casey Neistat” for a while now, and I truly mesmerized the way he managed to publish 800 YouTube videos daily. Next level discipline. Truly inspirational. I really envy his level of discipline. And the author Stephen King is one of them, who’s publishing three big novels per year. I think he still does.
